I am currently hiring a PhD and a postdoc. More info here: PhD position Postdoc position ---------------------------- I work across the fields of behavioural ecology, social behaviour and network science, with social networks as a central theme. Social network structures (the patterns of social interactions between individuals) play an important role for both humans and non-human animals, because they affect the spread of disease and information, the health and wellbeing of individuals, and evolutionary processes. They are therefore important to study, and are also very interesting because of their complexity. I use computer modelling and data from a range of species to study social network structures, including their emergence and their consequences for individuals and populations. I also develop methods for the study of social (and other) networks, using approaches from networks & complex systems science. I am currently here:
